Upcoming winter holiday closures, trash and recycling schedule

City of Colleyville offices including the Library and Senior Center will be closed in observance of upcoming holidays. Offices will close on New Year’s Day Monday, Jan. 1. Public safety staff will remain on duty. Trash and recycling will also observe the holidays.

New Year’s Day – Monday, Jan. 1
Monday collection shifts to Tuesday, Jan. 2
Tuesday collection shifts to Wednesday, Jan. 3
Thursday and Friday collections follow normal routes

The City of Colleyville encourages its residents to have a happy and safe New Year. As a reminder fireworks, including sparklers, are prohibited within city limits. Colleyville Police can issue citations for the possession or discharging of fireworks, that includes up to a $2,000 fine. Colleyville Police are also participating in a no-refusal weekend. Police will use search warrants to take blood from people arrested for driving while intoxicated who refuse to take a breath or blood test.
