The City will hold a public input meeting regarding potential expansion of the Colleyville Recreation Center from 5:30 - 7 PM on Monday, October 21 at the Recreation Center, 5008 Roberts Road. Residents will be able to review preliminary concepts and ask questions. In May 2024, the City asked voters if a proposition should be placed on a future ballot to authorize the issuance of ad valorem tax bonds for expansion of the Recreation Center, which may include a fitness center, locker room, indoor track, and multi-use field. Voters approved the advisory referendum by 74%. Since then, the City has worked with an architect on conceptual drawings and cost estimates for an expansion to include these elements.
