One of the things that makes Colleyville a special place to live is our community's friendly, inviting hometown spirit. This is most evident when friends and neighbors come together to enjoy our Special Events. All of the City's special events are FREE of charge and provide something for everyone to enjoy!

 2024 CITYWIDE SPECIAL EVENTS

 

 

Christmas Tree Lighting Celebration!

Saturday, November 23, 2024
5:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
Plaza at City Hall

Christmas time is here! Join the community for the annual lighting of the Christmas tree outside Colleyville City Hall to ring in the holidays! Attractions include balloon artists, food trucks, choir performances, Holly Colley Express hot chocolate specialty drinks provided by local businesses and organizations, a new drone show and more! 

Remember to stop by and write your letter to Santa! There will be a magical mailbox on the steps of City Hall that Santa and Mrs. Claus will deliver when they come to see us at this event. Santa is even bringing his reindeer! 

Plan to arrive around 5:00 p.m. to see Santa come in on the firetruck!

Valentines Yoga

Join us for a fun and upbeat Yoga class this Valentine's Day weekend! Colleyville's very own, Inspire Yoga will be teaching a fun and upbeat class at the Colleyville Center. Bring a friend, a loved one, or anyone you'd like and enjoy some Valentine's Day treats! Ages 12 and up.

City of Colleyville Annual Car Show

Colleyville City Hall

Start your engines and join us for Colleyville’s annual Colleyville Car Show! There will be free food, free coffee, and free fun for all ages as well as awards, prizes, live music, and swag. Join us for a free and fun concert series that you won't want to miss! Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets and/or lawn chairs to enjoy the live music. Four legged friends that are kept on a leash can enjoy these free and fun concerts as well! BYOB - No glass.

Colleyville Nature Center, Millwood Drive - Anglers Pond

Enjoy a great day of FREE fishing for the family at a freshly stocked pond in the Colleyville Nature Center. Prizes will be awarded for catches for children 16-and-under. Poles and bait will be available if needed. No pre-registration required.

National Night Out

National Night Out is an annual event that provides an opportunity for the community to meet the men and women who keep Colleyville safe. Colleyville Police and Fire, as well as other Colleyville service employees, will be on hand. Festivities include food, games and activities for the whole family. We'll have several City and specialty vehicles for kids (and kids-at-heart) to explore. You can expect to see public safety vehicles, SWAT vehicles, and much more. Residents of all ages are invited to join us!

 

 

Fire Open House

Join us for the Colleyville Fire Department Open House! Experience a day of family fun and community spirit as we showcase our dedicated firefighters and the essential services they provide. Enjoy interactive demonstrations, fire safety education, and the chance to explore fire trucks and equipment up close. Kids will love the games, activities, and more!
