The purpose of the Tax Increment Finance District Board is to oversee the implementation of the TIF zone adopted infrastructure project plan to promote reinvestment within the TIF zone. The Zone includes properties along the SH26 corridor. The Board consists of five members appointed by the City Council and a member of each of the following taxing units, which levies taxes on real property in the zone: GCISD, Tarrant County, Tarrant County College District, and Tarrant County Hospital District.
