What Property Tax exemptions does the city provide?
The city provides an exemption of $65,000 for residents over 65 and disabled residents. What is the current sales tax rate?
The sales tax for the city is 8.25%. The state collects this tax, 6.25% of which is retained by the state. The state remits the remaining 2% to the city monthly. The city's collections are allocated as follows: 1% for general services; 0.5% to park and library facilities development and economic development; and another 0.5% to the Colleyville Crime Control and Prevention District.
