Due to the critical nationwide shortage of blood, the Colleyville Fire Department is teaming up with Carter BloodCare to host a blood drive from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday, October 18, 2019. The blood drive will take place at the Central Fire Station at 5209 Colleyville Blvd.

Donors with all blood types are encouraged to participate. Most people in good health, at least 18 years old, and weighing at least 110 pounds may donate whole blood. Blood donation appointments can be scheduled online or on site on October 18.
