Police Explorers,

The Colleyville Explorer program is a gateway to a career in law enforcement. It is designed to acquaint youth with the complexity of law enforcement and introduce them to police operations and procedures.  Explorers build character, develop leadership skills, gain appreciation for community service, and develop good citizenship.

The program allows teens and young adults ages 14-21 learn police procedures including traffic stops, crime scene investigation, and more, from working police officers. This practice will also be tested in regional, state, and national Police Explorer competitions with Explorers across the country. Explorers will also don uniforms and aid police in activities such as crowd control at local events.
